Research Support Personnel
The "Technological Development" track includes the body of research engineers. Research engineers are responsible for :
- Analyzing a scientific need and translating it into technical specifications.
- Defining and optimizing the experimental protocol.
- Designing, developing, and/or adapting analysis methods.
- Participating in the valorization of research results and the dissemination of scientific and technological information
Candidates holding a master's degree or a degree recognized as equivalent, obtained with at least "honorable" mention or "good enough" mention, are recruited as research engineers through a competition based on their qualifications. Top positions:
- Head of Technical Department
- Experimental Station Director
- Head of Common Research Service
- Head of Experimental Station Service
- Workshop Manager
- Technological Development Project Manager, responsible for coordinating the technological implementation of a scientific project.

The personnel in the "Engineering" track are primarily responsible for carrying out activities in their area of expertise, including laboratory work, maintenance, IT, and statistics. The track includes the following categoriess:
- Research Support Engineers: Recruited through a competitive examination, candidates must hold a Master's degree, a State Engineer degree, or an equivalent recognized qualification.
- Engineering Associates: Recruited through a competitive examination, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree, a higher education diploma (D.E.S.), or an equivalent recognized qualification.
- Research Support Technicians: Recruited through a competitive examination, candidates must hold a technician diploma or an equivalent qualification.
- Technical Support Assistants: Recruited through a competitive examination, candidates must have completed at least the third year of secondary school or hold an equivalent qualification.
- Technical Support Agents for Research: This category is being phased out.

The personnel in the "Scientific and Technological Information" track are primarily responsible for carrying out activities in their area of expertise, including documentation and archiving, scientific mediation and museum collections, research communication and valorization, and translation and terminology. The track includes the following categories :
- Scientific and Technological Information Officers: Recruited through a competitive examination, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree or an equivalent recognized qualification.
- Scientific and Technological Information Assistants: Recruited through a competitive examination, candidates must hold a diploma in applied university studies (DEUA), a higher technician diploma, or an equivalent recognized qualification.
- Scientific and Technological Information Assistants: Recruited through a competitive examination, candidates must hold a technician diploma or an equivalent qualification.
- Technical Agents for Scientific and Technological Information: This category is being phased out.
- Technical Assistants for Scientific and Technological Information: This category is being phased out.
- Assistants for Scientific and Technological Information: This category is being phased out.

The personnel in the "Research Administration" track are primarily responsible for carrying out activities related to studies, control, and evaluation within their area of expertise. The track includes the following categories:s:
- Research Administrators: Recruited as research administrators based on qualifications, candidates must be graduates of the National School of Administration who have completed their studies under Decree No. 66-306 of October 4, 1966, concerning the functioning of the National School of Administration, or, through a competitive examination, candidates who hold a bachelor's degree or an equivalent recognized qualification.
- Research Management Assistants: Recruited as research management assistants through a competitive examination, candidates must hold a diploma in applied university studies (DEUA), a higher technician diploma, or an equivalent recognized qualification.
- Research Management Assistants: Recruited as research management assistants through a competitive examination, candidates must hold a high school diploma (baccalaureate) or an equivalent recognized qualification. Recruited candidates are required, during their probation period, to undergo preparatory training for the position, with the duration, content, and organizational methods set by a decree from the minister responsible for scientific research.
- Administrative Accountants for Research: Recruited as administrative accountants for research through a competitive examination, candidates must hold a technician diploma in the specialty or an equivalent recognized qualification.

- Secretary General
- Head of Administrative Service of the Center
- Head of Administrative Service of the Research Unit
- Head of Internal Security Office
- Study Officer, responsible for conducting specific studies, preparing analysis and summary reports, or managing a project within their field of expertise.
- Reception and Orientation Officer, responsible for welcoming and informing the public. Additionally, they supervise and coordinate the activities of agents in charge of reception and orientation
